What is a Portrait Baby you are asking?
They are works of art that can be examined, held and treasured as family heirlooms. It's a wonderful way to preserve a special occasion or any important moment in time. I personally believe that there is little else more beautiful than capturing the essence of a child in a portrait doll.
A little about how they are made:
After collecting just the right photo's to work from, I use all of my resources to find the doll kit that most resembles your baby. That is the easy part. I then begin the process of duplicating your little one into a lasting heirloom for generations.

Mary-Katherine was a custom made baby. I created Mary-Katherine using the photo that she is holding. The only difference is the hair color. Her new Mommy wanted darker hair.

This is a Portrait Baby. She was made for a Great Grandmother to give as a gift to her Grandson after the birth of his first daughter.
